About six months ago we wrote about the man documenting London in lockdown.
This time he’s back, and has released the series as a book called ‘Pause. London in lockdown’.
Before we get to that, lets remind ourselves how this series was created:
Taken from the ‘Pause’ kickstarter page.
“On the 23rd of March 2020, the evening the lockdown was announced in the UK, I was on my exercise round, cycling through an already deserted London. I was experiencing the city like I had never seen it in the 20 years I have been living here.
I decided that taking the camera on my nightly cycling tours was a safe way to document different parts of the city without endangering myself or others.”
An extremely surreal project that gives us all a more intimate look at such an almighty city.
Jan recently kickstarted the series and it’s now available to back as a book.
